This is from one of Matt Eich's folders called Sin and Salvation in Baptist Town . I like most of his work because it is very Tumblr material . I like this picture in particular because  it is focusing on the guy standing by the stop sign in the hoodie. It looks like a scene from a movie where he' waiting for someone or something. He looks like a "gangster" in a movie kind of like 8 Mile , this is what I think of when I see this picture. I like the lighting in the picture because it is dark but not too dark, and it has like a green color filter kind of to it. Maybe the stop sign pole can be leading lines because it makes him the focus point to me.

This Week's Photography Experience 01/09/16

This week we didn't know what to take pictures of, so first I let one of my friends go and she chose to take them outside but it was windy and cold so I didn't want to take mines outside. Me and my other friend were waiting for her to finish but we got cold so we went inside and we waited for her in there for a few minutes. When she came back in it was my turn, so we went to the cafeteria and it was A lunch. After we got in there I wanted to leave so we stood in there debating if we should just take them in there and then I finally left so they followed me. I didn't know what to take pictures of so I just took them of the vending machine. Most of my pictures didn't come out good because they all came out blurry because I guess I was shaky. So this weeks photography experience wasn't that good.

Hans Neleman

This is a portrait of Shakira, taken by Hans Neleman. I like this picture because Shakira looks really pretty in it and I like her hair. It's messy but I like it because it still looks good, I like how the lighting just hits her face and she kind of looking at where the light is coming from rather than straight ahead. I feel like the old chair she is sitting on and the chains around her really go together and stand out. The background is all black so it can make her face the focus point of the picture. Her dress is black, maybe to match with the background.

William Wegman

This is a picture taken by William Wegman and it's a dog and it looks like he has hands and is wearing a dress. There is also a portrait of a dog on the wall. William Wegman likes to photograph dogs and to me most of the pictures are weird like this one. I think it is weird because the dog is acting like a human. It also has on a wig. If you look closely you can see the human hand is coming from behind the couch, but they made it seem like it is the dogs hand. The dog doesn't have any legs or the left hand. it only has a dog head and a right human hand.
